HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO ADOPT?

Adopters must be 21 years of age or older to adopt.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO INTRODUCE THEM TO MY HOME?

This varies with every adoption depending on if you currently have other pets in the home, whether you have other adults or children in the home, as well as the personality of the pet you adopt.  We do offer follow-up behavior training as well as the following tips to help you acclimate the new pet into your family. We have rarely had an adoption not work out for everyone when these steps are followed.

When introducing a new pet into your home, please take time to follow these instructions. It will help the new pet feel more at home, it will give an existing pets time to adjust, and it will help any other people in the household feel more comfortable with the new pet as well.

  • (Info coming soon)

If for some reason it does not work out, we will gladly accept the animal back into our care and work to find a better fit. Just remember it takes patience and time for everyone to adjust sometimes. Don’t give up too soon.  If you need behavior assistance we can happily provide.

WHAT ARE YOUR ADOPTION FEES?

Our adoptions fees are as follows:

  • $200 – Puppies (6 months & under)

  • $100 – Adult Dogs (Over 6 months)

  • $75 – Kittens (6 months & under)

  • $40 – Adult Cats (Over 6 months)

We occasionally run specials on adoption fees or have a generous donor offer to pay the adoption fee for some of our animals. You can Follow us on Facebook for the latest updates.

Our animals receive a great deal of care before they are available for adoption so that we can make sure you get a healthy, vaccinated and spayed/neutered pet.  Those costs add up and the adoption fees are used to pay for these costs.
